Today, the House Committee on Small Business will hold a hearing titled, “SBA Capital Access Programs.” The House Financial Services Committee will hold a hearing on holding credit bureaus accountable. The Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs will hold a hearing on the semiannual Monetary Policy Report. The Senate Finance Committee will hold a hearing titled, “Drug Pricing in America: A Prescription for Change, Part II.” The House Appropriations Committee will hold a hearing titled, “Leveraging Private Capital for Underserved Communities and Individuals: A Look into Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs).” The House Appropriations Committee will also hold a hearing about the Congressional Budget Office, FY 2020 budget request.

• A bill was introduced in the House Committee on Ways and Means to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to extend the floor on the area wage index under the inpatient prospective payment system to certain sole community hospitals and to amend the Public Health Service Act to provide eligibility for certain sole community hospitals to discounted drug prices under the 340B drug pricing program. H.R.1323
