The House in recess this week.
The Senate will be out of session tomorrow in observance of Yom Kippur.

Appropriations Watch – The Senate is scheduled to advance an $852 billion spending package carrying increases for the Defense Department, as well as funding for several domestic agencies. The spending measure that Senate and House negotiators agreed upon last week covers nearly 70% of FY2019 federal discretionary spending. The bill includes $674.4 billion for Defense programs, as well as $178.1 billion for Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education programs.
