Senate Acts on Farm Bill, Includes Important Rural Business Programs

If you have never read the Farm Bill, you are certainly not alone. The 1,100 plus pages of proposed legislation covering operating and funding authorities for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is not exactly light reading.  But as you may or may not know, the USDA houses a number of microbusiness leading and business assistance programs, so AEO has been monitoring the bill’s progress closely since the beginning of the year.
