For those of you who do not know, yesterday was National Equal Pay Day, first created by the National Committee on Pay Equity (NCPE), to raise awareness of the gap between women’s and men’s incomes.  The day is recognized on a Tuesday to represent how far into the work week women must work in order to make what men did the week before.   You might expect there to be a law against that type of gender discrimination—and you would be right!
